Many scriptures discuss depression and other problems concerning the mind and problems that cause us to feel down. I want to address one particular scripture this evening. Psalm 42:11 [show]Psalm 42:11
[11]Why are you cast down, O my soul,
and why are you in turmoil within me?
Hope in God; for I shall again praise him,
my salvation and my God.![]()
states, “Whay art thou cast down, O my soul? And why art thou disquieted within me? Hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise Him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.” (more…)
What God Says About Depression
Pastors Reveal ‘Aha!’ Moments in Ministry
By Audrey Barrick|Christian Post Reporter
Dozens of pastors and ministry leaders revealed their “aha!” moments during an entirely online conference on Wednesday.
The speakers, who submitted pre-recorded videos of themselves, had six minutes to tell thousands of viewers the wisdom they gained when they went through a rough patch or when they just had a light-bulb moment during ministry.
“God wants us to express the talents He has given us, not talents He’s given someone else,” said Shawn Lovejoy, lead pastor of Mountain Lake Church in Cumming, Ga., in his short video segment.
Lovejoy recognized that pastors often struggle with insecurity especially when comparing themselves to the more renowned or “successful” pastors.
Once leaders become insecure in their own skin, they begin to question what they’re doing and copy others, borrowing programs, sermons or even personalities. When that doesn’t work, they begin condemning other churches or ministers and when that fails, they start condemning themselves, Lovejoy explained. (more…)

What Is Violent Praise
Chuck Pierce
Dear Victorious Worship Warriors:
In this fourth year of the seven-year war cycle, this is a year to bring God’s victorious sound from Heaven into our atmospheres. How we establish an atmosphere of victory around us sets our course for the next three years. This is a season of victorious sound that will break old cycles, cause us to advance, and enlarge and define our boundaries for days ahead.
But What is VIOLENT PRAISE? (more…)
For all have sinned.

The righteousness of God.
Dwell inwardly on the righteousness of God, but first on the God of absolute righteousness. Who else could that be, except for the God you know through Jesus or rather in Jesus? He is righteous, He is right, He is rightness its-self. And when you consider His right-wise-ness …how wise is that? Consider what He has established and what He has done? He is righteous indeed. He is exactly right about what is best for you. (more…)
A Lesson In Prayer
1ch 4:9 And Jabez was more honourable than his brethren: and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, Because I bare him with sorrow.

1ch 4:10 And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.
A powerful and popular prayer outside of the Lord’s Prayer is the prayer of jabez. (more…)
What You See Is What You Get
Genesis 13:15-16 [show]Genesis 13:15-16
[15]for all the land that you see I will give to you and to your offspring forever. [16]I will make your offspring as the dust of the earth, so that if one can count the dust of the earth, your offspring also can be counted. (ESV)![]()

For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed forever. And I will make thy seed as the dust of the earth: so that if a man can number the dust of the earth, then shall thy seed also be numbered.
Many times we focus on what we see with our natural eyes. Try looking at what is before you, but then looking at what God has promised you. His promises will always supercede what you can see in the natural. What you can see is what you get.
